Apollo Group TV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of this website to do the same. This page explains how to notify us of claimed copyright infringement.
Submitting a notice
Send written notice to [email protected], or by post to 2108 N St, Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816. To be effective, a notice should include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it, including the relevant URL where applicable.
- Your contact details: name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on their behalf.
How we respond
We review each notice we receive and respond as required by applicable law. Where appropriate, this may include removing or disabling access to material and notifying the party responsible for it.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address. It should identify the material and its former location, include your contact details, and include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Repeat infringers
We may terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers, in accordance with our terms of service.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please consider this before submitting a notice.
