The Apollo Group TV app
Your subscription is played through a compatible media player application installed on your device. This page explains how that works and how to get set up.
A straight answer about the app
We do not publish our own first-party application on the Amazon, Google, Apple or Roku stores. Your subscription is played through third-party player applications that support the standard streaming formats we deliver.
We say this plainly because some sites claim an "official app" that does not exist, and then direct people to download files from links that are not what they appear to be. Install player software from your device's own app store, and treat any download link sent to you by message with suspicion.
What you need
- A supported device — most televisions, streaming sticks, phones, tablets and computers qualify.
- A compatible player application, installed from that device's official app store.
- The account details we email you after purchase.
- A stable internet connection. Wired Ethernet is best for 4K streams.
Your welcome email names a player that works well on your device. If you are unsure which to use, ask us rather than downloading from a search result.
Staying safe when installing
- Do not install APKs sent by message or from unfamiliar sites. Modified builds of popular players are a common malware route.
- Do not grant remote access to anyone offering to "set it up for you". No one from Apollo Group TV will ask for this.
- Do not enter your wallet seed phrase into any application or website, ever.
